“I visited Irena because of a fungal infection, which had previously been treated with terbinafine, however, my two big toenails on either foot were detaching at the nail bed cuticle area, causing pain whilst walking. I was told by multiple doctors that I would probably lose both nails, but Irena was able to help guide my nails into the correct position with a small brace for the new nails to grow. She removed much of the fungus, and gave thorough guidance on how to treat my nails daily. She also spotted why my bunions increase the chance of infection in certain nailbed areas and how to correct this with the right insoles.

She has a very calming presence, always clarified the steps she would take and why, and was refreshingly transparent with her prices. I felt safe and dare I say... enjoyed the experience. I would recommend anyone worried about a foot or nail problem to seek help from Irena. I found the NHS and other private referrals frustratingly slow, expensive and stressful.
